Warranty

At All Star Wheelchairs, we build our reputation on quality and stand behind every electric wheelchair, mobility scooter, and power-mobility product we sell. We are proud to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty, with lifetime coverage on the structural frame and clearly defined coverage on every other major component. This warranty describes the only warranties we provide and explains exactly what is covered, for how long, and how to make a claim. This is a limited warranty.

What "Lifetime" Means:

  • "Lifetime" refers to the expected usable service life of the product as reasonably determined by All Star Wheelchairs, not the lifetime of the person who owns it.
  • Coverage remains in effect for as long as All Star continues to support your model and you remain the original owner, subject to the component coverage periods below.
  • Because lifetime coverage depends on the availability of replacement parts, it ends for a given model once those parts are no longer reasonably available and we discontinue support for it.

Who Is Covered:

  • This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser who buys the product new, directly from All Star Wheelchairs or one of our authorized dealers. It is non-transferable.
  • It does not apply to any product that has been resold, gifted, or acquired secondhand, or that was purchased from an unauthorized seller such as eBay, third-party Amazon sellers, Facebook Marketplace, or Craigslist.
  • Proof of purchase, in the form of your original All Star order number or dated receipt, is required for every claim. Without proof of purchase, we are unable to provide coverage.

Registering Your Product:

  • To keep your coverage active beyond the first thirty days, you must register your product within thirty (30) days of delivery, either online or by calling us at (669) 267-5655.
  • Registration takes only a moment and requires your name, order number and product model.
  • Products that are not registered within thirty days are covered only by the initial thirty-day defect period and are not eligible for the extended component coverage below.

Coverage by Component:

Each part of your product is warranted only for the period described here, and only against defects in materials and workmanship confirmed by All Star. All coverage periods begin on the date of delivery.

  • Frame & Welds - Lifetime. The main structural frame and factory welds are warranted for the lifetime of the product. This coverage applies to the structural components and welds only. It does not extend to finish, paint, powder coating, fasteners, bolts, screws, hinges, folding mechanisms, bearings, or any other moving, bolt-on, or cosmetic part, all of which are considered wear items.
  • Drive Motors - 2 Years. Warranted against manufacturing defects for two years from delivery. This does not apply to motors damaged by loads exceeding the rated weight capacity, by water exposure, by off-road or improper use, or by continued operation after a fault has been detected.
  • Joystick, Controller & Wiring - 2 Years. Warranted against manufacturing defects for two years from delivery. Damage caused by liquid exposure, drops, impacts, voltage surges, improper charging, or the use of parts or chargers not supplied by All Star is not covered.
  • Battery & Charger - 1 Year. Warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from delivery. Batteries are consumable, and a gradual decline in capacity, runtime, or range over time is normal and is not a defect. Coverage requires that the battery has been charged, stored, and maintained exactly as described in the owner's manual.
  • Wheels, Tires & Casters - 1 Year. Warranted against manufacturing defects for ninety days from delivery. Tread wear, flats, punctures, cuts, and damage from road hazards or ordinary use are wear items and are not covered at any time.
  • Upholstery, Armrests, Footrests & Accessories - 1 Year. Warranted against manufacturing defects for ninety days from delivery. Cosmetic wear, fading, tearing, staining, and damage from use are not covered.

What Is Not Covered:

  • Normal wear and tear, including tires, bearings, brushes, bushings, bolts, screws, hinges, folding joints, upholstery, paint, and finish.
  • Consumable items, including batteries beyond their one-year period, tires, and fuses.
  • Cosmetic damage of any kind, such as scratches, dents, fading, or discoloration that does not affect how the product functions.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or operation outside the owner's manual, including exceeding the rated weight capacity, using the product off-road or on terrain it was not designed for, or operating it in rain or through water.
  • Damage resulting from improper assembly, storage, transport, or maintenance by anyone other than All Star, and any damage involving water, moisture, or corrosion.
  • Any repair, modification, or installation of parts not authorized by All Star, or service performed by anyone other than All Star or an authorized technician, which voids coverage for the affected component.
  • Lost, stolen, or missing products, parts, or accessories, including small detachable items such as bolts, screws, wing nuts, keys, chargers, and remotes.
  • Products used for rental, commercial, institutional, or facility purposes, or any use other than personal, single-user, in-home and personal mobility.
  • Damage from acts of nature, fire, power surges, or other events beyond our control, and any product whose serial number has been removed, altered, or made illegible.
  • Labor, travel, service-call, or assembly charges, and any cost other than the covered part itself.

How to Make a Claim:

  • All warranty claims must be submitted by email to Support@allstarwheelchairs.com. We do not accept warranty claims by telephone or postal mail. Our phone line remains available for general questions.
  • Your claim email should include your order number, a description of the issue, proof of purchase, and clear photos or video showing the defect.
  • Our support team may ask you to complete troubleshooting steps before a claim is approved. Declining the requested diagnostics may result in a claim being denied.
  • All warranty service must be approved by All Star before any part is shipped or any repair is performed.

Repairs and Replacements:

  • This warranty covers replacement parts only. All Star provides the covered part at no charge within the applicable coverage period and does not cover or pay for labor, installation, diagnostic, or service-call charges.
  • Hands-on repairs and part installation are handled through WSR, our authorized nationwide repair partner. All Star supplies the covered part; any labor performed by WSR or any other provider is arranged separately and is the customer's responsibility.
  • Covered replacement parts may be new or factory-refurbished and will be of equal or similar quality and function.
  • Providing a replacement part does not extend or restart any warranty period; the original coverage period continues to apply.
  • If we determine that a covered defect cannot reasonably be resolved with a replacement part, our maximum responsibility is, at our option, to replace the product with a comparable model or to provide a refund that will not exceed the original purchase price, less reasonable use.

Shipping and Handling:

  • For covered defects confirmed within the first thirty days of delivery, All Star ships the replacement part at no charge.
  • After thirty days, a shipping, processing, and handling fee may apply to covered replacement parts and will be disclosed at the time a claim is approved.
  • We ship replacement parts within the contiguous United States. Expedited shipping and shipments outside the contiguous United States are available only at your expense.
  • All Star does not accept mail-in returns of products for repair. Hands-on repairs are arranged locally through our repair partner, WSR.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Limited Lifetime Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for your product and replaces all others. Except as expressly stated here, All Star makes no other warranties, whether express or implied, and specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Where implied warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, they are limited in duration to the applicable written coverage period stated above.
  • All Star will not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, or personal injury, arising from the product or any defect in it, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
  • Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so these limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

General Terms:

  • All Star reserves the right to deny any claim it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, abusive, or outside the scope of this warranty, and to require the return and inspection of a defective part before approving a claim.
  • We may update this warranty for future purchases at any time, and the version in effect on your date of purchase is the one that governs your product.
  • This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
